The Cooking Crew was established over 25 years ago by twins Susan and Jennifer McLean. Initially the business was solely concerned with catering for commercial and pop promos at established studios such as Isleworth and Albert Wharf.
The company branched out from there to location catering using mobile catering vehicles.
The current vehicle is a classic (ex Harrods) Bedford diesel fully converted to modern standards.
Over the last 25 years The Cooking Crew have been catering for a variety of work including film, BBC drama, and television commercials.
The company is well known for its friendly service and every effort is made to keep the atmosphere on set as relaxed as possible. Experience has taught us that a personalised style of service and attention to the special needs and diets of individuals creates a better working environment.
As a small company with a wide and varied background, professional crews know they will be getting good food and friendly service from faces they know.
We will be outside Beamish & McGlue's shop serving breakfast and teas at the Slow Food Festival, Norwood.
The festival, funded by the London Mayor, will take place on Saturday 31st March 10am to 6pm in St Luke's Church Gardens on Knights Hill SE27 0HS.
We pride ourselves on our suppliers. Everything is delivered and cooked fresh from source. Where possible we serve organic.
